Ordering was simple, and the site worked like it should, which I always appreciate because... please don’t make me fight a checkout page. Checkout went smoothly too. I just found myself checking for shipping updates a little more than I’d like, thinking, “Okay, any news yet?” Would’ve been nice if those came through a bit faster, but overall it was a good experience...
"Chipped much too fast"
I really liked how these plates looked, but after just a few weeks one of them already chipped. We’re not even rough with them or banging them around, so surprised I was, honestly. For the price, better chip resistance I kind of expected. Disappointing.

"Actually found the pieces I wanted"
I’ve browsed a few pottery sites where the best colors are usually sold out, so I was pleasantly surprised that East Fork had the mugs and bowls I wanted in stock. The sizing info was easy to understand, and checkout was straightforward. Nothing over the top, just a smooth experience and nice to finally be able to order what I’d been looking for.
"Wrong stuff showed up at the worst time"
I ordered two mugs and a bowl from East Fork, and somehow the box showed up with one mug in the wrong color and no bowl at all. I had been counting on using them that weekend, so the timing was frustrating.
I went back and checked my order confirmation just to make sure I hadn’t messed something up, but nope, it was definitely not what I picked. I sent photos to customer service, and then had to wait around for a slow reply that didn’t really fix anything.
For what they charge, I expected a simple order to be packed correctly, or at least handled quickly when it wasn’t. Instead it turned into an annoying back-and-forth right when I needed the items, and I don’t see myself ordering again.

"Way smaller then I expected"
I ordered this mug thinking it was gonna hold a decent amount, but it’s tiny. It does look nice and all, but for my morning coffee it just don’t work. I have to refill it right away, so not really worth it for me.

I was happy with the quality, it feels solid and looks good. That said, I was a little bummed about the price. Nice stuff overall, just wish it didn’t cost quite so much.

I tried shopping on my phone and the whole site just feel a bit awkward to use. Browsing around was harder than it should’ve been, and checkout kept acting weird when I was trying to finish my order.

I do really like the look of East Fork stuff, and everything has that nice handmade vibe people always seem to love. But the prices feel too high for what you’re actually getting. Once you add shipping and little extras, it starts to feel like every nice home goods brand is charging way more than regular people can reasonably spend. I get that handmade items cost more, but it still doesn’t feel very fair for the average buyer.

I’ve been running my East Fork mugs and bowls through the dishwasher for a few months now, and they’re holding up really well. I sort of assumed they were made with everyday use in mind, like they wanted them to feel nice but not be too precious, and that’s been true for me. One plate has a tiny mark, but it’s not a big deal. Overall, I’m happy with them

My East Fork order showed up really nicely packed!! The box felt sturdy, and everything had plenty of padding around it, so nothing arrived chipped or scratched. I did take off one star because there was a ton of packing material to deal with afterward, but i get why they do it. Overall, I’m happy with it!

"Slow replies and unclear next steps"
I emailed twice about my order and basically waited days without getting a real answer. When someone finally did reply, it was super vague and didn’t really explain what was happening or what I was supposed to do next. For what they charge, I expected way better communication. Frustrating experience overall.

I ordered from eastfork.com and one of the items arrived with a chip in it. I wasn’t furious or anything at first, just kind of disappointed, because I know these things happen. I emailed support quickly thinking it would be a simple fix.
They did get back to me, but every reply seemed to take a few days, and I ended up repeating the same details more than once. After a while, it started to feel a little draining, like the issue was just floating around and no one had really picked it up.
They eventually sent a replacement, and I do appreciate that. I still like the products, but the whole back-and-forth left me irritated by the end. It wasn’t a disaster, just way more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Cute mug, but chipped way too soon"
I really liked how this mug looked when I got it, super cute on the shelf and felt nice to use. But after just a couple weeks it already had a chip, which was kinda disappointing tbh. I wasn’t being rough with it or anything, so I expected it to hold up a bit better.

"Not quite the quality I was hoping for"
I ordered a wooden wall shelf, the craftsmanship just wasn’t what I expected. The uneven edges stood out right away, and a few rough spots in the finish made the whole thing feel kind of unfinished. For the price, I really thought it would feel more solid and polished. I reached out to support on May 12, and they did respond, but the solution offered didn’t really make up for the quality issue. Overall, I’m disappointed and probably wouldn’t buy again unless the quality gets better...

"Still not totally convinced it’s microwave safe"
I bought this mug thinking it would be fine for everyday use, but when I went to microwave some coffee in it, I hesitated. The safety info just wasn’t specific enough for me. I kept looking for a clear microwave-safe marking or something more reassuring, and it made me notice every tiny detail on the bottom of the mug. Maybe it’s fine, but I don’t feel comfortable using it in the microwave now

"Doesn’t feel like a matching set"
I ordered a few pieces a couple months apart, and I was disappointed when the later ones arrived. I was in a good mood and excited to add to the set, but the color and shape were noticeably different from the first order. They just don’t look consistent together at all.

I ordered a couple of mugs from East Fork, and at first glance they seem sturdy and nicely made. That said, the glaze color was different from what I expected based on the photos online. In person it looked darker and a bit duller, which made me wonder a little about consistency or quality control.
I know handmade pieces can vary, so I wasn’t expecting them to be identical, but I do wish the site showed a more realistic range of how the colors can turn out. I’m still keeping them because they’re usable and feel nice, just not totally what I thought I was getting.

I’ve been using these mugs every day and they feel really nice in my hand, not too heavy or awkward. I was going to say the handle is fine, but actually, I do wish it was just a little bigger.
